Russell Hobbs have a surprisingly varied line of toasters. From the lowly toaster costing £20, Russell Hobbs range of toasters rises to it's peak flagship Swarovski Crystal limited edition model (pictured below),

The ultra modern design is a unique looking toaster, which must be one of the few toasters which has been encrusted with detailed Swarovski crystals. The toaster is not only eye candy, it features all the functions you expect from a toaster costing £150.

The toasters pictured below ascend in price from low to high. Pictured on the left is Russell Hobbs entry level 2 slice toaster, priced in the region of £20. The next toasters rising in price to £30-40. Finally ending with the black glass toaster, which is the same design as the above crystal toaster, but with just a glass design is half the price at £70.

All the toasters in the Russell Hobbs range are feature rich. The budget level two slice toaster still comes with a defrost and mid cycle cancel function.

The Company

Russell Hobbs is a major manufacturer of kitchen appliances. The company was founded and is still based in the UK, in Failsworth, Greater Manchester to be specific.

The year of founding was 1952, the company was created by two men, Bill Russell and Peter Hobbs, the name of the company is the combination of both their surnames.

Russell Hobbs are possible most famous for their kettles, creating the world's first electric kettle which worked automatically. They also made the first ever kettle which could be programmed.
