When you can't cancel an order

There are however some circumstances when you cannot cancel an order. Firstly, if the goods ordered have been made to your specific specification, like a customised desktop computer. Secondly, if the items ordered deteriorate quickly, such as fresh fruit and flowers. Thirdly, if you have opened sealed dvd's, cd's and computers games which may have already been played or copied. Fourth, items which cannot be returned to the seller for some reason because of the nature of the goods. Fifth, newspapers and magazines which are read on a specific day. Sixth, adult gaming sites like sports betting, prize draws, bingo and lotteries. Finally, financial services where the price is dependent on fluctuations, like stocks and shares. It may be possible to cancel the above orders if you have a contractual agreement with the seller beforehand.
