Just like their stores they are light years away from the likes
of Tesco. The co-op site DOES NOT offer a food service, from the
home page it looks that way but search deeper and it's just a single
page with six of the best offers you can find in-store. Seems like
a con job to me, makes it seem the site offers more than it does.
Who cares that you display six offers from your in-store locations,
we want to order them online like with every other major retailer.
It seems the electrical section is the only one with an extensive
range of products you can actually order online, I was not looking
for a new Dyson from the co-op but to order my weekly shop so alas
it was of no use to me. There really is nothing worth your time
browsing at the co-op, you can everything cheaper at a specialist
electrical, travel, computing or funeral service. Co-op advertise
their 'Quality Food' as a retailer with a conscience, this is something
I can agree with and it's a real shame their most popular product
line is not available online. Buck your ideas up Co-op, you will
be left behind.
