Only ordered the one items from the, it was Denon UD-M50 midi hifi
system, it included a 3 disc cd changer, a radio tuner and two mission
speakers re-badged as Denon ones. I do regret picking the 3 disc
changer compared to the 1 disc changer, the reason being it makes
an awful clatter sound when changing disc. And for an expensive
good looking system it sounds a very cheap and poorly built noise.
But the 3-disc system did have a higher watts total than the 1 disc
so more than likely a superior sound.
I picked empiredirect as my supplier because it was the lowest
price, and from reading their 'about us' page had won some awards.
The reviews for the retailer were also positive. Delivery took around
4-5 days, and I did receive a personal phone call from the staff
to inform me that the order was processed and he details of my delivery
time. As of yet no other online retailer has taken the time to personally
telephone me, I took this as a good omen.
The system arrived on time, and is still working after 2 years.
It's possible the service of this retailer has degraded over time,
but my personal experience two years ago was 100% positive. I would
have no qualms frequenting them again if and when the need arises.
