On only one occasion did I order online with these clowns, their
policy may have changed present day but a year ago their refund
process was laboriously slow. My order did not arrive, I emailed
HMV to rectify the problem, their return message stated that their
was a standard 14 day wait for investigation into parcels which
were recorded as dispatched but did not arrive at their destination.
The reason they gave was fraud protection, if their research found
no error then no refund for you. Lucky for me they did find an error
(over £100 beatles lp collection order) and I was issued with
a full refund. But note this took another seven days to clear into
my bank account. I'll stick to the high street now thx, if your
an unlucky one (there always is) then expect a 21 day delay in HMV
issuing a refund.

The HMV site never offered much in terms of good online deals whenever
I checked it. Only recently did it seem to have a revamp, a nice
jazzy redesign and a home page full of film and games for £3.99.
I came across it again after searching pricerunner.co.uk for the
lowest price for the 'Queen' a new dvd release featuring Helen Mirren
as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Their online prices in the past
were always a good few pounds above that of their main competitors.
I was slightly shocked to see them crop up 2nd against Loaded247.
This was never the case beforehand, and because I knew from experience
Loaded247 shipped from abroad and took a few days extra I ordered
for the first time online with HMV. It's a pre-order currently so
hopefully it will arrive on the 12-13th of March.
