Very disappointed by a company I felt good about, maybe the expansion
of stores has left them complacent. For the first time I decided
to develop my pictures at Jessops and in the process take advantage
of their 'free' film offer. The quality was awful, very grainy on
every picture and a total let down. Even if I had went to the likes
of Boots I WOULD have expected quality 10 times as good. The price
isn't cheap also, maybe they decided to lower the toner quality
to pay for the free film or something, and seeing that I paid for
their Diamond laser processing, which was more expensive than standard
developing, I was in shock really. I would been better off visiting
shutterfly
and printing off the pictures myself, they use "Fuji Crystal
Archive" paper and from my experience they produce bright colors,
sharp whites, and quality that will last for decades. They can also
be more convenient than traveling into town twice for development,
usually more affordable, and a greater success rate than home printing.
I'd advise going anywhere but Jessops for your development needs.
