Miele currently build a variety of white goods and kitchen appliances. They are also noted for their range of vacuum cleaners. Miele tend to focus upon build quality rather than technological advancement and features. All of their vacuum cleaners still use bags. Most of Miele's upright cleaners look the same, have a swivel neck, and contain a similar feature list. What sets them apart is usually the suction power. Some owners have commented that Miele's vacuum's can be on the heavy side, such is the companies aim of putting reliability first. Miele were first based in Herzebrock. They are now located in Gütersloh, Germany. They have a US base in Princeton, New Jersey. It's UK base is Abingdon. Miele state that their products are built to last for twenty years.
