Panasonic have slowly started to eke out a market share of the highly competitive electric shaving sector. Panasonic, for the few of you who do not know, are one of the leading manufacturer's of electronics globally.

In the past few decades, Panasonic have ventured out to begin building virtually every consumer electronic's device and appliance imaginable. And, in recent years, this has included men's and ladies electric shavers.

Panasonic have focused upon building foil electric shavers. Panasonic have began a technological battle. For starters, Panasonic have designed the fastest linear motor for it's cutting head. And, it has also designed the first curved foil cutting head.

As the above image shows, Panasonic's cutting head differs from anything that has come before. The head is designed to pivot in a multi directional ratio. Front and back and side to side.

Panasonic's most talked about technology advancement is it's 'Wet & Dry' technology. As the name would suggest, the technology allows for a dry or wet shave. That means you can foam up, and shave with your electric shaver, just like with a traditional razor.

Panasonic have also built a recharging dock which also cleans the shaver head at the same time. Which means the next time you need to shave, the shaver will be charged, cleaned and dry.

In conclusion, it would appear that Panasonic could become a heavyweight in the sphere of electric shaving. Their technology advancements, and heavyweight research and global renown as a brand, could ensure they become the market leader.
