Stoves

Stoves are one of the UK's leading brands of cookers, hobs and ovens. The Stoves brand is owned by Glen Dimplex, an Irish company who owns a selection of leading UK appliance manufacturers.

Stoves have recently launched a line of bakeware, which is endorsed by celebrity chef Brian Turner. Who some of you will have seen star in cooking shows such as "Ready, Steady Cook" on the BBC.

Their bakeware range includes a baking tray, a cake tray, a Yorkshire pudding tray, a Lasagne tray and an all purpose oven tray. Their bakeware promises an average thickness of one millimetre, which is twice the thickness of most cooking trays.

Of course, Stoves are primarily a maker of cookers and ovens. And as with most manufacturers, you can expect to find their product range to include gas, electric and duel fuel models.

However, the technology Stoves are most renowned for is their 'Genus' oven. The Genus technology is multifunction and promises to cut cooking times by up to sixty minutes, in comparison to a traditional oven.

Multifunction ovens can combine a range of technologies, such as a traditional heating element, a fan, thermal, steam and microwave energy. The Genus oven promises sixteen cooking techniques and eight standard programme modes.

The Genus oven has been featured in awards from the Grand Designs Magazine, Get Connected Product of the Year, Manufacturer Awards, and the House Beautiful Awards.
