Features for a new tuners and radio

- Plenty of radio presets, which means your tuner will remember your favourite radio stations without the need to re-tune everytime. Forty or more presets is considered a standard amount.

- An LCD or dot-matrix display, so that support for RDS and EPG is possible.

- RDS support, will show the details of the radio stations your listening to on a small LCD display panel. Some alternative radio data system are PS, RT, PTY and TP.

- EPG, is another text based system for a display panel. EPG is a guide, which will display a description of the current broadcast, and what the next broadcast programme will be.

- A good array of analogue and digital inputs and outputs, such as a TOS-link

- For analogue tuners, a choice of automatic, manual and preset tuning for the FM and AM radio frequencies.

- For digital tuners, tuning by station name, a system which allows you to scroll through a list of radio station names, until you find you one you wish to select. Additionally, plenty of scrolling options is an added bonus, such as alphabetical, multiplex, active and trim orders.

- A circuit which has good ground isolation, to regulate the flow of the electrical current, and prevent noise from entering the tuner.

- A supplied FM/AM antenna, ideally will be placed outside, to pickup the best reception possible.
